You can build
stronger bones.
Not just slow the loss.
ONERO is the only exercise program developed and proven in clinical trials to improve bone density in people with osteoporosis and osteopenia — and it's available right here in Success, WA.
A diagnosis of osteoporosis can feel frightening — and frustratingly vague.
Most women leave their GP or specialist with a script for calcium supplements, a note to take vitamin D, and advice to "do some weight-bearing exercise." It sounds helpful. But it leaves you wondering: what exercise, exactly? How much? Is it safe?
Walking and swimming — as good as they are for general health — do not produce the mechanical forces required to stimulate new bone formation. And yoga, while valuable for balance, doesn't deliver the load intensity your bones actually need.
The gap between "do some exercise" and "here is a supervised, evidence-based program designed specifically for your condition" is enormous. ONERO is that program.
Exercise science, applied specifically to bone health.
ONERO was developed by researchers at Griffith University following the landmark LIFTMOR clinical trial — one of the most rigorous exercise and osteoporosis studies ever conducted. It is the first and only supervised exercise program designed to the exact protocol proven to improve bone mineral density.
The program combines high-intensity progressive resistance training with impact exercises — the two modalities that consistently produce osteogenic (bone-building) effects. Every session is delivered by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist trained specifically in ONERO delivery.
This is not a generic group fitness class. It is a clinical program, individualised to your bone health, your medical history, and your current strength and balance.
Simple, supervised, and built around you.
We guide you every step of the way — from assessment to measurable results.
Bone Health Assessment
Your first appointment is a 60-minute one-on-one session. We review your bone density scans, medical history, current medications, and movement confidence.Supervised training
Two 45-minute supervised sessions per week at our Success clinic. Small group format. Progressive loading — meaning each session builds on the last.
Track Your Progress
Every 12 weeks, we reassess your strength, balance, and confidence — so you can see and feel your progress.
This isn't hopeful thinking.
It's peer-reviewed evidence.
he LIFTMOR trial — Lifting Intervention For Training Muscle and Osteoporosis Rehabilitation — was a landmark randomised controlled trial conducted at Griffith University. It specifically tested the effect of high-intensity progressive resistance and impact training on postmenopausal women with low bone mass.
The results were significant. Participants who completed the supervised exercise program experienced meaningful improvements in bone mineral density at the femoral neck and lumbar spine — the two sites most prone to osteoporotic fracture. They also showed significant improvements in functional performance, strength, and balance.
ONERO is the only exercise program built on this specific research protocol, ensuring every session mirrors exactly what was tested and proven in the trial.

Common questions
Everything you need to know.
-
Yes — and in fact, it is designed specifically for people with osteoporosis and osteopenia. Every session is supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who understands your condition, reviews your bone density reports, and adjusts every exercise to your ability. The LIFTMOR trial was conducted on postmenopausal women with low bone mass, and the ONERO protocol is based directly on that research. We take safety seriously — and that means we also take progressive loading seriously, because that's what produces results.
-
Absolutely. Many of our ONERO clients have had little to no exercise history for years or even decades. We start with a thorough assessment to understand exactly where you are, and every program is built from that baseline. We never push you beyond what is safe and appropriate — but we do progressively challenge you, because that's what produces bone density improvements over time
-
You don't need a referral to enquire or begin. However, if your GP has issued a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on individual sessions with our Exercise Physiologist. We can help you navigate this — just let us know when you get in touch. It's also helpful to bring any recent bone density scans or reports to your first appointment, but we can request these directly from your GP or specialist if needed.
-
Most clients notice improvements in strength and confidence within the first four to six weeks. Measurable changes in bone mineral density typically become visible on a DEXA scan over a 12-month period — which is why ONERO is a 12-month program. We reassess your strength, balance, and functional performance every 12 weeks so you have a clear picture of progress well before your next bone density scan.
