What Does an Exercise Physiologist Do?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist is an allied health professional who specialises in the use of exercise for prevention, treatment and management of a wide range of conditions.

Unlike personal trainers, AEPs are university-qualified, Medicare-recognised, and trained to support people with complex health needs.

Our exercise physiology team can support you with:

  • Persistent pain

  • Disability and neurological conditions

  • Injury rehabilitation

  • Mental health and mood disorders

  • Chronic fatigue or post-viral fatigue (including Long COVID)

  • Diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions

  • Osteoporosis and osteoarthritis

  • Cancer recovery and prehab

  • Falls prevention and balance training

  • Weight management and metabolic health

Who We Work With

Our clinic in Success is proud to support:

NDIS participants – Including those with physical, neurological, or psychosocial disability

Adults and older adults – Looking to maintain strength, mobility, and independence

Return-to-work and DVA clients – We help you safely build capacity for everyday tasks

Private clients and GP referrals – We welcome Enhanced Primary Care (EPC/Medicare) and private health claims

Whether your goals are to walk the dog, return to sport, or get up and down the stairs pain-free — we’ll help you get there with a plan that’s realistic, supportive, and evidence-based.
