The Midlife Method

Perimenopause can feel confusing especially when your sleep, energy, mood, strength, or body composition starts shifting.

The Good News?

Evidence supports that targeted nutrition and supervised strength training can help support symptom management and long-term health through this stage.

At Rebound Health (Success, WA), we’ve partnered with Dr Shy PhD APD (Accredited Practising Dietitian) to deliver The Midlife Method.

Location note: The Midlife Method is delivered across two locations - Exercise Physiology at Rebound Health (Success) and Nutrition with Dr Shy in Aubin Grove. Your booking confirmations will clearly show the address for each session.

What is The Midlife Method?

The Midlife Method is a multidisciplinary diet and exercise program delivered through Rebound Health (Success, WA) and designed specifically for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.

It’s a structured 12-week program focused on strength, body composition, and sustainable energy grounded in evidence-based care. If needed, the program can be coordinated with your GP and treating team.

Why choose The Midlife Method?

Many women try adding more cardio or general classes. These can be helpful for fitness, but they’re not always enough on their own to make a significant difference to muscle and bone-focused health goals in midlife.

The Midlife Method stands apart because it is:

Evidence-informed - aligned with current best practice

Targeted - designed for perimenopause/menopause

Safe - supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and an Accredited Practising Dietitian

Accessible - available right here in our Success, WA clinic

By joining The Midlife Method, you’ll have access to modern equipment, personalised care, and a supportive environment that makes the program both effective and enjoyable.

Who can benefit from The Midlife Method?

This program is ideal for:

  • Women in perimenopause/menopause, including those with osteopenia or bone-health concerns

  • Women noticing body composition changes

  • Women concerned about strength, energy, and long-term health

  • Anyone 40+ wanting a structured blueprint for midlife health going forward

Even if you’ve never exercised before- or you prefer individual, group, or independent exercise sessions- the program is structured so you can start safely and progress at your own pace.
